The existing stacking belt and
rotary breaker were to be removed. Since then, the coal handling system has
been reevaluated. Only three stacking tubes were built and a screening circuit
including the rotary breaker will be added to process oversized materials that
pass through the crushers.
A high-angle conveyor will transport coal from the crushers to the screen.
Coal that passes through the screen will go to the silos. Oversized materials
will be fed through the rotary breaker. Oversized materials from the rotary
breaker will fall into the reject bin for collection and disposal in the Lower
Refuse Pile. Product-sized coal from the rorary breaker will be uansported by
conveyor belt to the silos.
The screen and high-angle conveyors are a new part of the coal handling
system. The rotary breaker circuit is existing and was kept in the reclamation
bond. Because site specific conditions could cause changes in the designs (as
they already have), I suggest that the final coal handling system description in
the permit text be deterred until the "as-builts" are completed per stipulation
No. a3.
.,.:..
