<br />PROPOSED NEWSPAPER ADVERTISMENT <br />Salt Creek Mining Company, P.O. Drawer L, Fruita, Colorado, 81521 has <br />filed a technical revision 'to its Munger Canyon Mining and Reclamation <br />Permit (CO-020-B1) with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division. <br />7'he legal description of the affected area is: <br />A tract of land located in Section 34 of Township 2 North, Range 3 <br />West of the Ute Meridian, and in Section 3 of Township 1 North, Range 3 <br />West of the Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />An irregular tract of lanrl varying in width from b9 feet to g0 <br />feet and lying 8.5 feet southwesterly from the centerline of ttre Denver <br />and Rio Grande Western Railroad Company's I.C.C. Trar_k No. 11A and <br />extending northwesterly 3210 feet from a point opposite Mile Fost 4b4 <br />plus 5080 feet. <br />Tt~e surface of the area is owned by The Denver and Rio Grande Western <br />Railroad Company. The proposed date of commencement of the operation is <br />immediately. The Proposed postmining use of the affected land is a <br />return to use as a rail loading facility. <br />The revision entails removing a strip of land 75 feet wide adjacent to <br />tt:e soutt~ border of the trsr_t described above from the permit area. <br />Copies of tt-re revi~:ion are on file at the GariCel.d County Courthouse in <br />Glenwood Springs, Colorado as well as the Mesa County Courthouse in <br />Grand Junction, Colorado. written comments, objections or requests for <br />an informal conference on the revision may be submitted to and <br />add itiunal information obtained from the Mimed Land Reclamation <br />Division, Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, 80203-(303) <br />965-3567.
