I have been waiting to see if we
can ship ore to the Uravan mill. It now appears that limited
mining is possible for an undetermined period. Therefore, my
interpretation of Rule 1.62 is that the subject permits are in
the "intermittently active" status. Should the Uravan mill
close down again, the "temporary cessation" status would appear
to apply. As we discussed, these small uranium mines have been
intermittently operated since the permits were issued. Planning
and scheduling are difficult, especially during the current
depressed uranium market.
Enclosed is our check for $2.00 in payment for a copy
of the latest regulations. Thank you for your assistance in
this matter. Please contact me if there are any problems.
Sincerely,
GZ~~
Robert Tay r
Enclosures:
Annual Report and $50 fee (Check No. 145) - Permit No. 79-201
Notices of Intermittent Activity - Permit Nos. 7$-222, 7$-226,
77-401 and 77-477
