Lung <br />Dieision Duetlor <br />lames 5 Lochhead <br />E~eculive Director <br />A telephone discussion regarding [he status of the investigation into the herbicide spill at the <br />Montgomery Pit was held with Paul Phillips, attorney representing B and B Excavating. Mr. Phillips <br />stated that a sampling and analysis plan (SAP) would be submitted for Division review by 12/17/98. <br />Mr. Phillips was told that given the low concentrations and limited extent of contamination indicated <br />by the preliminary sampling, a 12/17/98 submittal date for the SAP was acceptable tot he Division. <br />Analysis for Bromacil will be included in the plan. <br />Mr. Phillips stated that the contaminated bag house dust will not be handled or moved until a <br />remedia[ion or disposal plan has been approved by [he Division.
