Cattany ~ Division Director Natural Resource Trustee Re: Relocation to Grand Junction Field Office Dear Mr. Gubka: The purpose of this letter is to notify you that I am transferring from the Denver office to the Grand Junction office on a permanent basis. My new telephone number in Grand Junction is 970-243-1571, and my address is Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety, 101 South 3rd Street, Suite 301, Grand Junction, CO 8150]. For all future submittals please use the following procedures which are identical to those already set up for Dan Mathews in our Grand Junction office. All documents received or issued by the Division will be electronically imaged and digitally filed. In the Coal Program, a "hazd copy" of the permit application package for each operation will be maintained by individual environmental protection specialists, but the electronic permit package and file will be the primary file available for use by operators and the general public, as well as DRMS staff. All document imaging will be done at the Denver office. To ensure that this process is implemented as consistently and efficiently as possible, we aze requesting that you adhere to the following procedures regarding submittal of information to the Division. For revision applications, bond release applications, permit transfer applications and similaz applications or requests, please submit two sets to me, at the Grand Junction DRMS office, and one set to our Denver office, addressed to Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety, Coai Program Support Staff; 13 [ 3 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203. Adequacy responses and other correspondence should be handled the same as initial submittals; one set to Denver and two sets to me in Grand Junction. At the conclusion of the review process, once the Division's decision is final, please prepare and submit one set of approved replacement pages, figures, maps, etc., to the Denver office, with a copy of the cover letter to me. In essence, you should follow the same procedures with respect to submittal of revision materials to our Denver office that you should be following for the BLM resource area office.
