Long <br /> Division Director <br />RE: Findings of Tatum residence examination <br />Golden Eagle Mine, Basin Resources, Inc., Permit #rC-81-013 <br />Dear Ms. Tatum: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology has concluded it's further <br />review of possible subsidence impacts to your residence near <br />Weston, Colorado. Based on our investigation we find that your <br />residence is not within an area where mine subsidence related to <br />the Golden Eagle underground mining operations is occuring or has <br />occurred. Therefore, your residence is not subject to mine <br />subsidence impacts. <br />Attached is a memorandum prepared by Jim Pendleton, Technical and <br />Scientific Coordinator for the Division of Minerals and Geology, <br />detailing his observations and investigation of this matter, as <br />well as his conclusions based on those observations and <br />investigations. Also attached is a Trip Report prepared by Michael <br />Rosenthal, Chief - Physical Sciences Branch for the Office of <br />Surface Mining, Western Support Center, and a memorandum indicating <br />his concurrence with the Division's conclusions and findings. <br />Thank you for cooperating with us during this investigation.
