DEPT, OF N:~TU.ZO,L Rc$pygCCG <br />As requested on your November 1982 Inspection Report, GEC Minerals, Inc. <br />is hereuithin pleased to provide a plan to the MLRD on how gullies on the <br />reclaimed surface will be handled in conformance with Rule 4.14.6. They <br />are specifically described as follows: <br />1. Any gullies for over eight (8) inches in depth <br />occurs in GEC's reclaimed area shall be filled, <br />graded, and reseeded in accordance with Rule 4.15. <br />2. A level basin wi71 be constructed on top of each <br />gully whenever needed; the berm height to be 2' in <br />height all around the level basins; and the level <br />basin subject to surveying to warranty the basin will <br />be on level to prohibit further excessive erosion. <br />3. A request has been officially made to Soil Conservation <br />Service recently regarding certain assistance from the <br />SCS to better improve GEC's gullies problem. Such <br />assistance will include level basin location determination, <br />survey of level basins; and the effectiveness of the <br />application of level basin to the gullies. <br />4. All slightly redisturbed area in regard to these activities <br />will be regraded and reseeded in accordance with Rule 4.15. <br />5.
