'~ io t- r ~ JL , 1 Computer requirements to use the DMG document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not requve a new installatice of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extemsiom. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Widows XP computer, the defauri viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewel' or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanYiea'', which can be downloaded from h{anView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this sotiwaze and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". I stru [loos: Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time fm the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD frmn the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD iMO tbe computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied [o this CD. If the Automn program does NOT work, yon will need m manually install the QuickView program. InsWC[ions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.cn.ua. The Permit File dowment images can be viewed m the recepdoa area of the DMG ot6ce or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD parchaae coat covers the time and labor of making the CD.
