<br />NOTICE <br />Hawk's Nest Mine East Area Revegetation Project <br />Advertisement for Bids <br />The State of Colorado, Mined Land Reclamation Division is seeking bids for a <br />project to revegetate one inactive mine site located in Gunnison County. The <br />site is a nine (9) acre underground coal mine disturbance located approx- <br />imately 22 miles east of Hotchkiss along an old section of relocated State <br />Highway 133. The project work involves seedbed preparation, seeding, app- <br />lication of mulch, fertilizing, and installation of a hay bale drainage <br />control dike. Revegetation work will be done on regraded mine site hill- <br />slopes. <br />Interested contractors should contact the Colorado Division of Purchasing, <br />303 West Colfax Avenue, Suite 600, Denver, Colorado, 80203 or call (303)- <br />620-6100 for a set of RN-GOAL-MINES-6 (HAWK'S NEST MINE EAST AREA REVEGETATION <br />PROJECT) bidding documents. An on-site pre-bid meeting will be held on <br />October 8, 1991, at 1:00 p.m. All interested bidders must attend. Bidding <br />documents must be obtained prior to the pre-bid meeting. <br />
