Long
Division Dlreclor
We are unable to conduct our field investigation of subsidence
impacts to your residence and groundwater impacts to your well
during the week of January 23, 1995 as you previously anticipated.
I relayed this fact to you during our telephone conversation on
January 18, 1995.
Rather our field investigations at the mine site are now
affirmatively scheduled for February 1, 1995. I understand that
you are interested in participating in this field investigation and
we will contact you next week to indicate an exact time and place
for you to meet up with our field people.
We will begin the office component of these investigations next
week. After completion of our field work there will likely be some
additional work which will need to be done in the office.
Therefore, final results from our investigations may not be
available until sometime after the field investigation.
I understand that you are interested in bringing these issues to a
final resolution as soon as possible. We will work as diligently
as possible to conclude all our investigations in early February.
Please feel free to call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~ '~'l
Susan McCannon
Coal Program Supervisor
cc: Jim Pendleton
Randy Price
Dan Hernandez
Mike Long
Mike Rosenthal, OSM-WSC
