<br />Kochia, Russian Thistle, and PrieWy Lettuce
<br />Since biorypes of kochia, Russian thistle, and prickly lettuce are known m be re-
<br />sistant to LANDMARKTM M$ tank mixture combinations with herbicides having
<br />different modes ofaction, such as DuPOntTM KARMEX® DF, DuPOntTM HYVAR®
<br />X or KROVAR®I DF, must be used. In areas where resistance is known m exist,
<br />these weeds should be treated postemergence with other herbicides registered for
<br />their control, such as 2,4-D or dicamba.
<br />Kochia and Russian Thistle-Apply a tank mixture of LANDMARKTM MP her-
<br />hicide at a 22.5 ounce unit pat cper 5 acres (4.5 ounces of product per acre)

<br />UNDER ASPHALT AND CONCRETE PAVEMENT
<br />Application Information
<br />LANDMARKTM MP may be used to control weeds under asphalt and concrete
<br />pavement, such as that used in parking lots, highway shoulders, median strips,
<br />roadways, and other non-crop sites. LANDMARKTM MP may not conhol tubers,
<br />rhizomes, woody vegetation such as small trees, brash or woody vines.
<br />LANDMARKTM MP should only be used in an area that has been prepared
<br />according to good construction pmc[ices. Use sufficient water m ensure uniform
<br />coverage.
<br />Application Timing
<br />LANDMARKTM MP should be applied immediately before paving m avoid lat-
<br />eral movement of the herbicide as a result of soil movement due to rainfall or
<br />mechanical means.

<br />IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS-UNDER ASPHALT ONLY

<br />courts, or golf cart paths.
<br />TURF, INDUSTRIAL (UNIMPROVED ONLY)

<br />Application Informafion
<br />LANDMARKTM MP is recommended m control weeds in unimproved turf, road-
<br />sides, or other noncrop sites where the turf H well established as a ground
<br />cover. Applications may temporarily suppress gross growth and inhibit seedhead
<br />formation {chemical mowing).
<br />Application Timing and Rare
<br />Apply LANDMARKTM MP at a 22.5 ounce unit pack per 2S acres (0.9 ounces of
<br />product per acre) to established grosses after they have broken domrancy, usually
<br />30 days after initial spring flush. If an additional application is necessary, apply
<br />LANDMARKTM MP again at a 22.5 ounce unit pack per 25 acres (0.9 ounces
<br />of product per acre) during late spring to early summer. On established weeds,
<br />apply LANDMARKTM MP one to two weeks after mowing for the best results.
<br />LANDMARKTM MP may also be applied in late fall or early winter.

<br />IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS-INDUSTRIAL, UNIMPROVED TURF
<br />• Excessive injury to turf may result if a surfactant i5 used with IhrPontTM LAND-
<br />MARKTM MP applications made to actively growing turf. The user assumes
<br />all responsibility for turf injury if a surfactant is used with LANDMARKTM
<br />MP treannents applied m actvely growing turf.
<br />• LANDMARKTM MP may temporarily discolor or cause top kill of turf grosses.
<br />Applications made while turf is dormant may delay green-up in the spring.
<br />• LANDMARKTM MP application on turf that is under stress from drought,
<br />insects, disease, cold temperatures or late spring frost, may result in injury.
<br />• Application of LANDMARKTM MP m Nrf less than 1 year old may cause
<br />unacceptable turf' injury.
<br />• For broadcast applications, do not exceed 2 applications of a 22.5 ounce unit
<br />pack per 25 acre (0.9 ounces of product per acre) LANDMARKTM MP within
<br />a 12 month period.

<br />NON-CROPLAND RESTORATION

<br />LANDMARKTM MP is recommended for the control of downy brome, cheat,
<br />jointed goatgrass, medusahead and certain broadleaf weeds in unimproved in-
<br />dustrial turf, on roadsides, airports, industrial sites or on other similar non-crop
<br />sites. In order to release desirable, perennial gross species for site stabilization,
<br />LANDMARKTM MP may be used to control the following winter annual grosses
<br />and broadleaf weeds.
<br />Application Timing and Rate
<br />Apply LANDMARKTM MP at the rates listed below in the Fall, within 6 week
<br />before the expected date when the soil freezes, or in the Spring within 6 weeks
<br />after the Soil thaws. Best results are obtained on winter annuals when applied in
<br />the Fall. Spring applications require a higher rote.
