<br />Topsoil replacement will occur at the conclusion of the operation once facilities <br />have been dismantled and the land recontoured to blend with the surrounding <br />topography. Structures that will remain following reclamation include Routt <br />County Road 37 and U.S. Highway 40. The right-of-ways along these roads <br />account for 3.3 acres and will not be topsoiled. <br />No specific approvals aze being granted concerning topsoil removal, storage and <br />redistribution. <br />V. SEALING OF DRILLED HOLES AND UNDERGROUND OPENIN S <br />Information regazding sealing of monitoring wells may be found in Tab 2.., <br />Attachment 23-3 in the permit. All groundwater monitoring wells, water :supply <br />wells, etc, which aze a part of the operation will be reclaimed. <br />The Division will require that each hole, well or other underground opening be <br />capped, sealed, backfilled, or otherwise properly managed (4.07.3). <br />VI. USE OF EXPLOSIVES <br />No explosives will be stored or used at the HG loadout. <br />VII. DISPO OF .X S POIL <br />There will be no spoil material generated by the proposed operations at the: HG <br />loadout. <br />VIII. COAL MINE WASTE <br />There will be no coal mine waste generated by the proposed operations at the HG <br />loadout. Crushing and sizing operations will be conducted at the loadout taut all <br />coal will be loaded onto trains or trucks and transported away from the site:. <br />IX. BACKFILLING AND GRADING <br />Information regarding backfilling and grading of the HG loadout may be fi~und in <br />Tabs 17, l8 and 23 of the permit application. A summary is given above, in the <br />Reclamation Plan portion of this document. <br />Backfilling and grading operations will return the disturbed azea associated with <br />the loadout to appro~cimate original contour within one year after the yeaz in which <br />operations cease. <br />~a <br /> <br />
