CK K~•6/s .r 3 Survev of Gallos Residence. Residence was inspected by James Eurich and Iver Iverson on Febj~axy ? Residence is log construction with a rock & mortar foundation. The approximate year of construction is 1931, Exterior logs contain several cracks and some scaring. Several cracks of various lengths and widths are present in the chinking between the logs. The brick chimnei~ on the back of the residence has several cracks in the mortar joints. Some bricks are missing from the chimney approximately twelve feet from ground level. The foundation on the southwest corner of the residence has a large track in stave mortar and the staves are loose. The interior walls and ceilings of the residence are ccvered with paneling, drywall, plaster and fiberboard. There are several cracks in the window joinery of the frames, muttons and mullions. The living room Ceiling has Several cracks. The ceiling is constructed of fiberboard and sagging badly. The owner stated he is planning ofi shoring/reinforcing [he ceiling prior to blasting operations. The fireplace captains several small cracks. The dinin room ceiling coztstruc.t.ed of fiberboard is sagging slightly and has sortie __ _ _ sma~ crac~. Lath strips have been placed over the ceiling in various places. There are small cracks along the. edges of Che lath strips. The large window has rh°o cracked window panes. The kitchen area ceiling is sagging slightly and has some small cracks: The 2sterior doer has a broken panel in the lower half. The utility area ceiling is sagging and has several small Cracks. Bathroom ;#1 is currently under construction. One of the fiberglass panels in the bath tub area was removed during inspect=on. The piaster and drywall material exposed was badly damaged. There are several small cracks in Ule plaster calls and ceiling. Bathroom ~2 has loose rile in the shox~er area. The ceiling in the shower az-ea is damaged. The walls around the window opening are damaged. There are several Loose tiles on the counter top. The ceiling in bedroom rl is sagging Slightly. The piaster walls have several smn11 cracks. The closet walls and ceilings are damaged. The two windows in bedroom kZ e&ch have a cracked window pane. The closeC ceiling is badly cracked. The hallway ceiling axaund the furnace area is damaged and sagging, The attic area was not thoroughly inspected because some of the flooring boards were removed. The foundation walls iu the basement area had several cracks of variot:s sues. The mortar between the rocks was missing in several places. light could be seen through several of the cracks along the sill.
