Page 1 <br />BLASTING SUBMITTALS <br />1.0 EXPLOSIVES <br />1.1 Use Of <br />All blasting operations, including the storage and handling of explosives will be <br />performed in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Standazd <br />Specifications and all other pertinent Federal, State, and local regulations. <br />Whenever explosives aze used, they will be of such character and in such amount <br />as is permitted by the State Mine Safety Program, local laws and ordinances and <br />all respective agencies having jurisdiction over them. <br />1.2 Storage Of <br />Storage of explosives, detonating cord and delay detonators will conform to all <br />requirements of the Mine Safety Program and to all State, Federal and local <br />requirements. This will include approved magazines and magazine sites, table of <br />distances, placarding, record keeping, and security. <br />2.0 PRELIlvIINARY SUBMTTTALS <br />2.1 Forms To Be Used <br />2.1.1 Completed blasting plan form -Exhibit A. <br />2.1.2 Blasting report form to be used -Exhibit B. <br />2.1.3 Preblast survey reports to be used - Exhibit C 1 & C2. <br />2.1.4 Vibration Report forms to be used -Exhibit D. <br />2.2 Manufacturers' Data Sheets -Enclosed. <br />2.2.1 Extra Gelatin Exhibit El & E2. <br />2.2.2 Shock-Staz Surface Delays Exhibit Fl & F2 <br />2.2.3 Detonating Cord Exhibit Gl & G2. <br />2.3 PROPOSED DEMOLITION PLAN & PROCEDURES <br />2.3.1 Equipment & Methods For Accessing the Work. <br />All drilling and blasting of each Silo will be within the lower eighteen feet <br />of the Silo.
