The following information covers the time period from November 11, 1997 - <br />November 18, 1997. <br />General Construction Summary and Schedule <br />Road construction is essentially complete except for final base course placement and guardrail. Base <br />course placement continues along the lower road sections. Construction continues on the main Ventilation <br />Facilities Site (VFS) sediment ditch (DSG-1), upper detention pond, and detention pond outlet channel. <br />The sediment pond SG-1 decant pipe installation is complete, and pond completion is pending liner <br />installation. Final culvert and french drain installations are also in progress. Snow flurries occurred early <br />in the week but the weather was generally dry and cold throughout the period. North facing slopes are <br />remaining snow covered and frozen throughout the day. <br />Current Schedule <br />A gantt chart of the schedule and progress of general construction activities for the project is attached. <br />Specific tasks of interest are as follows: <br />Upper Detention Pond <br />Pond SG-l and Culvert CCW-1B <br />G u ardrai I Installation <br />Lower Sylvester Gulch Road <br />Base Course <br />Miscellaneous Culverts & French Drains <br />In Progress Complete 12/15 <br />In Progress Complete 12/08 <br />Begin 11/10 Complete 11/26 <br />Completed <br />Completed <br />In Progress Complete 1 l/21 <br />
