III IIIIIIIIIIIII111
999
STATE OF COLORADO
Ray Romer, Govei
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
DAVID C. SHELTON, Director
MEMORANDUM
T0: Cathy Begej
FROM: Jim Pendleton a~-~'
RE: Twentymile C Com ny's Submittals Made in Response to Stipulations
No. 6 an o. 7 aced on Approval of Permit C-82-056
I have reveiwed the response made by Twentymile Coal Company in an attempt to
satisfy stipulations No. 6 and No. 7, placed upon approval of the Foidel Creek
Permit.
Stipulation No. 6
This stipulation required the submittal or amendment of an appropriate map to
clearly indicate the location of their existing and proposed subsidence
monuments. The applicant has chosen to amend Map 23. Unfortunately the scale
is too small to clearly indicate the location and number of the monuments. I
suggest that the operator prepare and submit a map or maps similar to those
they commonly submit as a portion of their periodic subsidence monitoring
reports. They can use the existing map for the existing monuments and would
need only to prepare a map to depict proposed future monument locations.
Stipulation No. 7
This stipulation required the applicant to develop a plan to control access to
the various dirt access roads which exist within the area of potential
subsidence. The applicant's plan to gate and post signs on the existing roads
is acceptable and satisfies the requirements of Stipulation No. 7.
cc: Bob Liddle
(^3p January 1987
` /\J
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
