Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imagiug CD (or DVD): 1. A program called fjuickView will be copied ro the CD and must be installed on your computer in order ro use a DBMS imaging CD the fast time. Future line of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mm be in the De drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contaiD files wiW the .tif extension. There needs ro be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint' and they do not work with tZuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes witltgre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has detemlined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "bfanView", it needs ro be configured as your default .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows'. Instructiona• }' Insert the CD inro your computer. /2. Allow tune for the CD ro install. / 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called t2uickView Aurorun, which runs the QuickView setup Program, has also been copied ro this CD. If the Auroivn program does NOT work, you will need ro manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. The Permit File documeot Images cap be viewed to the reception area o[the DBMS office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purebase cost rnvers the Nme sad labor of making the CD. DBMS cannot provide computer related support.
