These
activities will be avoided or minimized in high quality late seral
aspen, coniferous and mountain shrub forested areas.
To avoid impacts to tiger salamander larvae, water withdrawn from any
ponds shall not at any time be drawn-down below a 2 foot depth, as
measured from the center of the ponds, with a minimum 6 foot
circumference. A screen 1/4 inch mesh shall be placed on hoses used
to withdraw water.
When additional findings or information of Region Two, Forest Service
sensitive species is discovered a new biological evaluation will be
written and mitigation to protect these species or their habitat will
be incorporated into the conditions of approval.
A limited operating period from March 1 through July 31 will be
imposed on any activities except subsidence in areas within one
quartar mile of goshawk nests determined to be active on any
activities if they could cause nesting failure or abandonment.
