ELLURIDE
RAVEL,
INC.
P.O. Box 445, Telluride, CO 81435
(970) 728-3775 • Fax (970) 728-3015
December 29. 1997
San Miguel County Planning Department
P. O. Box 548
Telluride, CO 81435
RE: Pre-Application Summary Statement
To Whom It May Concern:
~r~rsn~GSr~i~ ~C~ ~ P `'
bnclosed is all of the applicable information required in the County's Pre-Application Summary
for Expansion and Addition of Uses. The purpose of this whole exercise is to obtain three
building permits for buildings that already exist. These buildings are'. l) the Pit Crew Trailer
(moved to the pit in 1994); 2) the Tire Shop (built in an emergency situation in 1987 after the
mudslide destroyed our shop); 3) the Welding Shop (built in 1987 on the old sand bin slab after
the batch plant was moved to the pit).
Although I don't agree that obtaining these permits for existing buildings constitutes an expansion
of use, all of the information required is included. I have included a copy of the Pre-application
Summary from the county and have addressed all of the articles individually. In addition,
Telluride Gravel has already applied for the three building permits separately on standard Building
Permit forms. These applications have been turned into the County if any of that information is
also needed.
Please let me know if any information is missing or if you need additional information.
Sincerely,
David Ballode, President
Telluride Gravel, Inc.
