Computer requfremenb to use the DMG document Imaghag CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on yom computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Futtue Ilse of this alr other imaging CD's does not require a new instal]atiop of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase ~v be in the D: drWe. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will ~nbin Shre with the .tif extension. Bete nods ro be an image viewing application for .tif Slew on your computer that will handle single and multrpage doclmtenb. An a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or'Taint" and they do not work wilt QttickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers. does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", wlrich can be downloaded S~om hfanView.com, does work with lZuickView. After dowDloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viawc. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registredon are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work es well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging fm Windows". Ipalrnctions• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. ~. Allow time for the CD to iosblL Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You an ready to view the Pumit Files. NOTE: A program called l2ttickView Autorun, which tone the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to mamlally install the tZtrickView l~Bmm Inshncdons for manually installing lZnickView en available upon request .with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.ebte.co.us. The Permit Flie document images can be viewed in the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can 6e purchased on a CD ar DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat rnvera the time and labor of malting the CD.
