A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a cew installation of [he software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs ate called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer' or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "L{anView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "hfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Inatructious• <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />/2. Allow tune for the CD to install. <br />',// 3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autotun, which tuns the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need m mauually install the QuickView program <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD rn can be viewed at www.tninine.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase mst rnvers the time and labor of making the CD.
