STERN (1033.1803)
This will coniYrm the voicemail messages which I left for you late in the afternoon
of November 27, which you left for me yesterday, and which we exchanged today. The
essence of these messages was that the Hazel A vacuuming operation was postponed due
to weather end is scheduled to begin tomorrow, November 30, 1995.
I received reports that the snowstorm, which began Sunday, continued through
Monday and Tuesday at the Gold Hill Mill. While CON, Inc.'s crew was able to do
some preparation for the vacuuming operation during that time, VAC-N-JET's truck
could not climb Sunshine Canyon Road due to snow and ice. I received the report this
morning that VAC-N-JET's truck failed in its attempt to climb the Road this morning
because it remained icy and had not been plowed; but the County is plowing the Road
today. With the sunshine and wind the Mill is experiencing today, we expect VAC-N-
]ET's truck to be able to reach the Mill tomorrow morning and to begin the vacuuming
operation.
!f/OIJ, ////A91
