A program called lZuickView will be copied to the CD end must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD <br />the fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and mold-page documnta. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or'Taint" and rbey do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows xP corrrputens <br />does work. DBMS has deterarined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />f2uickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Lnagiug Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Inatrucdona: <br />1. Lrsert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert ilte CD into dte computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called tjttickView Autorun, which runs the l2ttickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program <br />Lrstructions for manually installing QtsickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www,minintt.state.co.us. <br />The Permit Flle document images coo be viewed iu the recepdou uea of the DBMS office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. <br />The CD/D V D porcbaee cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
