Thomsen: <br />un April 28, 1983, Ideal Basic's notices of temporary cessation of <br />production fur the four above referenced permits were presented to the <br />Board. <br />At the March and, again, at the April Board meetinys, the Board has had <br />extensive discussions tryiny to determine what does or does not <br />constitute temporary cessation. Based on these discussions, the Board <br />has established some criteria to determine if a permitted operation is or <br />is not under the "temporary cessation" classification. These criteria <br />were used by the Board on each of the above referenced permits and tha <br />Board's decision for each permit is addressed below. <br />A. Permit X77-345, Boettcher Sandstone Quarry <br />The Board voted that this operation does meet the temporary <br />cessation criteria. The refDr•e, as of April 1, 1983 (i.e., 130 <br />days after October 1, 1982 - the day production temporarily <br />ceased at this site) this permit operation is in temporary <br />cessation. The Board also voted to increase Ideal's bond for <br />this pe rnit from $2,500.00 to $5,000.00.
