INTRODUCTION <br />This document is the approval package prepared by the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division for Twentymile Coal Company's proposed Life of Mine <br />Revision to the Foidel Creek Underground Coal Mine. The document <br />contains the "Proposed Decision to Approve the Permit Revision <br />Application"; a summary describing the history of the review of the <br />permit revision application; the environment affected by the mining <br />operation, and the mining and reclamation plan; and the Division's <br />written findings of compliance required by the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act. Detailed information about the review process <br />can be found in the Act and the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. All Rules referenced in this document <br />are contained within the Regulations. Detailed information about the <br />proposed mining and reclamation operation can be found in the permit <br />revision application on file (C-056-82) in the public record maintained <br />by the Division and at the County Clerks Office for Routt County located <br />at 522 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />-1- <br />
