A program called QttickView will be copied to the CD and moat be installed on yow computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the softwaze. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase 11~ be in the • drly . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on yow computer that will handle single and multi=Page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows 7CP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "L-fanView", which can be downloaded from IrfaaView.com, does work with t2uickView. After downloading "LfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There aro many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Proview" and "Lnaging for Windows". ):natructlons• 1. Insert the CD into yow computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. S. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called i2uickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the tZtrickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView arc available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minin¢.state.co.us.
