C:attarry <br />DNislon Director <br />Natural RL."UURC TNLIOB <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 118, <br />Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on November 12, 2003, an application tp renew an existing <br />permit to eonduct coal mittiag apera7ions at the Golden Eagle Mine was considered complete for the p7rrposes of <br />filing. AlI review and comment periods as provided in the Coiondo Surface Mining ReE:latnaiiuu Act and tl7C <br />Rules initiate firm this date of filing. <br />Hasiri Resources, Inc, proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located <br />approxtrnately 20 miles west of Trinidad, Colorado. The permit area is further descn'bed as follows; <br />I <br />In all or portions of Sections,15-22, sad Sections 27-34 of T33S, R67W; and Sections 3 and 4 of T345, R67W. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Vigil. <br />The renewal of the permit for another five year allows the pemuttee to complete the remaining monitoring and <br />recla7nadoa activities in anticipation of final recla7t7ation bond release for most areas. <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public ittspectipn at the I.as Animas County Courthouse, 200 <br />East First Street, Room 104, Trinidad, CO 81082, and at the Division oft-ice.
