Long <br />Division Direao~ <br />Enclosed is the Division's Mid-Term Review for the Red Canyon Mine, <br />conducted in fulfillment of Rules 2.08.3 and 3.02.2(4). Also <br />enclosed is a copy of the Division's most recent reclamation cost <br />estimate, which was conducted in conjunction with the mid-term <br />review. <br />The mid-term review consists primarily of reviewing the permit <br />application, the findings document, field inspection reports, <br />recent revisions, phased bond releases, and the bonding document. <br />The main purpose of this review is to identify any areas of <br />operations or permitting that may be out of compliance with the <br />Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. <br />A technical revision responding to the requests contained within <br />Section III of this document should be submitted within 60 days of <br />receipt of this letter.
