Computes requirements to nae the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD}: 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the firer time. Futuna use of this ar other imaging CD's door not requite a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will nxd a CD or DVD, . 3. The CD wig contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are celled "Windows Picture and Fax Viewd' or "Palm" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pn-Windows XP wmputere does work. DMG has de[erntined that a program called "htanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured m your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this soRwan and the licensing and registration are the user's riaponaibility. Then are many other programs that work as well, such ae "Imaging Preview" and `Imaging for Windows". [natruetlons• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD tb install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer, 5. You ere reedy to view the Permit Piles. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which inns the QttickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. if the Autotun program does NOT work, you will need W manually install the QuickView program. Inehuctions for manually installing QuickView am available upon inquest with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG ofiee or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CDJDVD purchase cost coven tho tlme and labor of making the CD.
