C-13,080-1 INITIAL APPROVAL ^ <br />DATE ISSUED: August 3, 1981 FINAL APPROVAL <br />ISSUED TO: KERR COAL COP•1PANV <br />THE ACTIVITY TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Surface mine located 12 miles east of Walden, <br />Colorado on Jackson County Route 12E in Jackson <br />County. <br />• <br />THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY <br />CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1973 (25-7-101 et sew.), TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE <br />FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />1. Abatement and preventive fugitive dust control measures shall include but <br />not be limited to: <br />a. Wetting down, including prewatering, of areas where work is in progress. <br />b. Landscaping and replanting with native vegetation on all disturbed areas. <br />Until these areas are revegetated, fugitive dust shall be controlled by <br />chemical stabilization or a method approved by the Air Pollution Control <br />Division. <br />c.. Restriction of vehicle speeds on site to 30 miles per hour. <br />d. Prevention of the deposit of dirt and mud on treated haul roads and paved <br />roads; any dirt and mud which is deposited shall be removed. <br />e.
