North Central Energy Company, a.k.a. Entech) property in Las Animas County. Specifically, the Division purchased approximately 30,000 acres lying south of Highway #12 which includes the Golden Eagle permit azea (C-81-13) and part of the New Elk mining permit azea. The purchase is subject to a leaseback to the grantors of the permit area for reclamation purposes. Please provide an update of the applications to reduce both mining permit areas. Furthermore, as the new surface owner, we would appreciate notification of any future change in activity or release of bonding, etc. with respect to these mining permits by contacting this office and the Division's local project officer, Bob Holder, at 1203 San Juan, Trinidad, CO 81082, (719/680-1410).
