North Central Energy Company, a.k.a. Entech) property in Las Animas <br />County. Specifically, the Division purchased approximately 30,000 acres lying south of <br />Highway #12 which includes the Golden Eagle permit azea (C-81-13) and part of the New Elk <br />mining permit azea. The purchase is subject to a leaseback to the grantors of the permit area for <br />reclamation purposes. <br />Please provide an update of the applications to reduce both mining permit areas. Furthermore, as <br />the new surface owner, we would appreciate notification of any future change in activity or <br />release of bonding, etc. with respect to these mining permits by contacting this office and the <br />Division's local project officer, Bob Holder, at 1203 San Juan, Trinidad, CO 81082, <br />(719/680-1410). <br />Please advise if there is any information you need with respect to our purchase that might affect <br />your administration of the mining permits. <br />Thanks. <br />Sincerely, <br />~~ <br />Paul H.
