Lnng
Drvhinn Dkeaor
Dear Mr. Montgomery:
As a result of the conditional approval of technical revision 45 (TR-45) for the Golden Eagle
Mine, the Division of Minerals and Geology issued the following stipulation:
Stipulation No. 76
BASIN RESOURCES WILL SUBMIT THE APPROVED APPLICATION FORMS FOR SITES F1, SD-
1, AND SD-2 FOR INCORPORATION INTO EXHIBIT 31 OF THE PERMIT. TABLE 24, PAGES
1 AND 2 WILL ALSO BE UPDATED WITH APPROPRIATE API NUMBERS AND SUBMITTED FOR
INCORPORATION INTO EXHIBIT 31.
On March 9, 1998, the Division received the necessary information for two of the sites, SD-1
and SD-2 from Basin Resources IBRI1. At that time, the Division understood that the
information for site F-1 would be forthcoming. Presently, we have yet to receive the
appropriate information concerning site F-1.
What are BRI's intentions concerning this site. Can we expect that this information will be
submitted in the very near future? Since the stipulation was written to include the three sites,
we cannot terminate this stipulation without the information for site F-1.
If it remains BRI's intention to go forward with site F-1 as an industrial site, please submit the
appropriate information so that stipulation # 76 can be terminated. If site F-1 will not be an
industrial site, BRI should proceed with the approved reclamation plan for that site. Please
submit your intentions in writing to the Division as soon as possible. As always, your
cooperation is appreciated.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Sinc ely, /,~
Kent A.
