Transit Mix of Pueblo would like to apply for an Amendment to Special Use Permit no. 479,
dated October 29., 1996. The purpose of this Amendment is to apply for Temporary Expanded
Hours of Operation. Transit Mix of Pueblo would like to be allowed to Process Gravel at our
west side of Pueblo, Gravel Operation for approximately four (4) months with no limitations on
the hours of operation. This time frame would run froln nud August 1998 to the end of
December ]998. The gravel pit, located at 5475 Highway 9G West, on the west side of Pueblo,
Colorado, has been designated as an approved source of aggregates for the Pueblo Dam
Modification, Project no. 60-C0382, Fryingpan Arkansas Project -Colorado, Bureau of
Reclamation. Tlle: Bid date is July 23, 1998 at 10:00 A. M. This project has been given a major
priority since public safety is of concern.
