Mottice <br />Squire <br />1996 <br /> <br />2.0 Noxious Weeds at Mar lehead Quarry. <br />Len Wardlaw, Bucky Arbaney for the County, and Mr. <br />Elderkin of the BLM met at the Marblehead Quarry site and <br />reviewed the problem. Thereafter, a weed control specialist <br />recommended by Mr. Arbaney was employed and sprayed the weeds. <br />Mr. Arbaney advised that if the initial spraying were taken care <br />of, and the County acquired the Quarry, the County would take <br />care of subsequent weed problems. <br />3.0 Road Reclamation. <br />Mr. Squire performed calculations for road reclamation <br />as recommended by Mr. Elderkin and by letter dated October 22, <br />1996 stated that his estimate of cost was $17,961. Costs for <br />"reclaiming the pit floor or high walls or for establishing <br />drainage ways across the haul road" were excluded from the <br />computation. <br />4.0 BLM Reimbursement for Soil Testing. <br />Mr. Mottice advised that the cost of testing the <br />material samples and conducting a site visit amounted to about <br />$1,500. <br />4.0 Additional Reclamation Funding. <br />As pointed out in my letter dated August 16, 1996 to <br />Mr. Squire, the Bankruptcy Trustee is prohibited by the <br />Liquidation Plan from making reclamation payments other than <br />those provided for in the Plan under Section 4.3.3 which <br />provides: <br />"No other payment under Plan. Class 5 Claimants shall <br />receive no other payment under the Plan, as the holder of <br />administrative claims, general unsecured claims or <br />otherwise." <br />Available reclamation money consists of $7,000 held by <br />
