The plan must address all illegal depletions associated with this operation, including <br />evaporation from exposed ground water, water lost to excavation of wet product, product <br />washing, pumping for dust control, concrete hatching, etc. The irrigation well which was <br />proposed as the source of augmentation water in. your court filing would most likely not be an <br />acceptable source of replacement water for this substitute supply plan. <br />Request for a substitute water supply plan and a gravel pit well permit should be submitted <br />within 30 days of your receipt of this letter. Pursuant to statute, the filing fees for a substitute <br />water supply plan and a well permit application are $1343 and $60 respectively. Enclosed are <br />copies of the current and proposed general criteria used in evaluating substitute water supply <br />plans and a well permit application form. Our office will send the plan to an outside consutant <br />for their review and recommendation. The consultant will typically have 60-90 days to approve <br />or deny the proposed plan. ff the consultant recommends approval, our office will review the <br />approval to confirm that all requirements have been met.
