A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and mast be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require s aw installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase m:a be in the D: d v A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension Thilre needs to be an image viewing application for .tif 61ea on your computer that will handle sin8le and mtlti-page documents. On a Windows XP computer. the defatdt viewing progtarne an called "Windows Pichue and Fax Viewel' or "Paint" and they do rot work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from LfsnView.com, does work with QiiickView. After downloading "LfanView", it needs >b be configured as your default .tif viewer DBMS does not support or endorse this software a»d the licensing and mgist[ation are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such ae "Lnaging Preview" and "Imaging far Widows".
