Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or DVD):
1. A program called QuickView witl be copied to the CD aad must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD
the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software.
2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD.
3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .cif files on your computer that
will beadle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers
does work- DBMS has determined that a program called "ItfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with
QuickView. ARer downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse
this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responstbility. There are rrtany other programs that work as well, such as
"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows".
Instructions:
1. Ltsert the CD into your computer.
2. Allow time for the CD to install.
3. Eject the CD from the computer.
4. Reinstrt the CD into the computer.
5. You are ready to view the Permit Files.
NOTE: A program called l2uickView Autotun, which runs the (2uickView
setup program, has also been copied to this CD. Lf the Autottm program
does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program
