Empire Eagle Mine Vegetation Final Bond Release Monitoring 2005-2006 <br />UTAH TRACT <br />' This tract consists of a rangeland community that was reclaimed after May of <br />' 1978. The area will be compared to a technical standard developed by Trapper <br />Mining Company and presented in Table 4.4-1 and 4.4~ (page 4-105 and 4-111) <br />' of their permit. The cover standard is 25% herbaceous cover and 22 % litter. <br />The production standard is 62.3 g/mZ. <br />WILLIAMS FORK STRIP PIT -PRE MAY 1978 <br />This tract consists of a rangeland community that was reclaimed on lands <br />disturbed by mining prior to May of 1978. Herbaceous cover is the only <br />vegetation data required to be collected from this site. A letter from the NRSC or <br />other Expert stating that the site is capable of supporting the designated post <br />mine land is required for herbaceous production. <br />WILLIAMS FORK STRIP PIT -POST MAY 1978 <br />This tract consists of a rangeland community that was recaimed on lands <br />disturbed by mining after May of 1978. It will be compared to 1981 Reference <br />Area B. <br />OTHER BOND RELEASE MONrrORING OBSERVATIONS <br />' In addition to measurement of vegetation parameters a plant species list for each <br />area will be compiled, weed infestations will be observed and mapped if present, <br />' and panoramic photographs of the reclaimed areas will taken.
