The mining
was to be done with a dredge and the open excavation was not to exceed 1
'/z acres. The mining operations have been ongoing for several months
using excavators and loading into mining haul trucks exposing water and
areas greater than the I YZ acre ]imit. Also a check on the monitoring
wells and recharge ditch along the east side of the property per an
agreement that is part of the permit with neighboring land owners needs to
be confirmed. I would request a site visit and investigation to see if Platte
Sand and Gravel is in compliance with these regulations and any other
permit requirements that are not being met.
Sincerely:
;~~ ~ ~~~~r~~ ~.
Stanley Odenbaugh _
11100 WCR 38
Platteville Colo. 80651
