Hot asphalt can cause <br />thermal burns. Overexposure to the fumes of heated product <br />should be avoided. <br />Hydrogen sulfide is not present in the product when sold <br />but, f the asphalt is heated at high temperatures for en <br />extended period of time, hydrogen sulfide may exist in head <br />space of storage vessel. Hydrogen sulfide can be irritating <br />at low concentrations to the eyes, skin and respiratory <br />tract.
