Numeric Standards: The Standards which have been assigned in <br />accordance with Che above classifications <br />can be found in 3.5.0 Classification and <br />Numeric Standards for the Gunnison and <br />Lower Dolores River Basins (5 CCR 1002-8), <br />as amended January 30, 1991. It should be <br />noted that this facility does not discharge <br />pollutants which are limited by water <br />quality standards with the exception of pH. <br />IV. FACILITY INFORMATION: <br />The facility is a sand and gravel operation located along the Gunnison <br />River, approximately one mile east of North Delta. The operation involves <br />the mining of sand and gravel from the pit. The mine water, from ground <br />and storm water, is pumped to a sedimentation pond and then to a drainage <br />ditch which discharges to the Gunnison River. <br />The permittee did not report, in the permit application, any modifications <br />to the facility since the issuance of the last permit. Therefore, a <br />description of the facility, wastewater sources, discharge point(s) and <br />treatment received by the wastewater is identified in a previous <br />certification. Please refer to Figures 1 and 2 of the permit for a <br />current map of the facility. <br />V. ANTIDEGRADATION: <br />These are not reviewable waters pursuant to Section 3.1.8(3)(a) of the <br />Basic Standards and Methodologies for Surface Water (5 CCR 1002-2), based <br />on a finding of no increased water quality impact. <br />
