Dear Mr. Sprague,
I just received a copy of the July 5th & 15th letters
addressed to Wayne Tatman regarding COM, Ines milling
operation at Gold Hill. In the future please address
these matters to our corporate office in Seattle, Washington.
(P. O. Hox 80905, Seattle, Wa. 98108).
To address the issues as listed:
1. COM, Inc. has complied with the state's definition of a
custom mill: "A mill is not a custom mill if the mill
site and sources of material for processing in the mill
are under MLRB permit(s). Such MLRB permits must be
held by the same person(s), company, or partnership."
The building permit, with it's conditions, which was
sited in your letter, does not apply to the mill, but -
rather to the out-building located at the Cash Mine. -
That building is used in conjunction with sorting and
stockpiling, and would only handle ore from the Cash
mine.
2. The tires, automotive parts, and unlicensed and
inoperable vehicles have been removed. One vehicle,
whose ownership is in question remains, however after
appropriate measures to locate the owner have been
taken, that truck too will be removed.
3. If we can no longer utilize the trailer presently on
the property as a "dry area", we request an extension
of time to identify an alternate arrangement.
