These GVBs will help OMLLC maintain safe underground operating <br />conditions. The GVBs and roads would be located in T. 12 S., R. 91 W., Section 35, 6`" PM. Please see <br />_ attached map. Each of the 9 drili,p~c(s_wilLhe 4.24.acres_in:area. Appcoximatety-5-085 ft o~rew-read-- - - - - <br />construction is proposed and 4,594 ft of previously reclaimed road is proposed to be re-opened. Surface <br />disturbance associated with this proposal is expected to equal 7.63 acres (2.16 acres for pads, and 5.47 <br />acres for roads). Construction and drilling is expected during the summers of 2006-2008. The operating <br />life of each GVB is estimated to be equal to or less than 2 years, after which the well, drill pad, and <br />associated access road will be reclaimed. <br />The GMUG will be conducting an environmental analysis in accordance with the National Environmental <br />Policy Act on this proposal. This proposal is being released fora 30-day public scoping period. The <br />scoping period on this proposal ends 30 days following the date of publication of a legal notice in the <br />Delta County Independent and the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (to run concurrently). scoping <br />comments maybe submitted in hard copy through the mail, fax, delivered by hand, or emailed. Mail <br />comments to: Ryan Taylor, ATTN: OMLLC GVBs, P.O. Box 1030, Paonia, Colorado 81428. Fax <br />comments to (970) 527-4151. Hand delivered written scoping comments will be accepted at the Paonia <br />Ranger District Office, N. Rio Grande, Paonia, Colorado, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm., <br />Monday-Friday, except for federal holidays. <br />Electronic scoping comments will be accepted, and must be submitted as an IBM compatible format (e.g. <br />*.doc, *.txt, *.rtf), or PDF. Electronic comments should include a subject line containing: OMLLC GVBs, <br />and be sent to: comments-rocky-mountain-gmuq-paonia(a fs.fed.us . <br />For electronically mailed scoping comments, the sender should normally receive an automated electronic <br />acknowledgement from the agency as confirmation of receipt.
