RE:O:IRCFS <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division an application for a <br />permit to continue underground coal mining at its Roadside and Cameo <br />Mines under the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. <br />The permit area is located at Cameo, Colorado, three miles northeast <br />of Palisade, Colorado, is split east and west by the Colorado River <br />and U. S. Interstate Highway 70, and is encompassed within the <br />following lands: T 10 S, R 98 W, 6th PM, Sections 20, 7.1, 22, 23, 26, <br />27, 28, 29, 34 and 35, and T 11 5, R 98 W, 6th PM, Sections 1 and 2. <br />The permit area is contained in the U. S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute <br />Cameo Quadrangle map. (The owner of the areas to be affected by <br />surface operations and facilities is Cameo Land Company.) A copy of <br />the application is available for public inspection at the Idesa County <br />Clerk and Recorder's Office, Mesa County Courthouse, Grand Junction, <br />Co., 81502. Written comments on the application may be submitted to, <br />and additional information obatined from, the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division, Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Co., 80207_, <br />(303) 866-3567. Written comments must be filed at the Division by <br />5:00 p.m. on April 28, 1981. <br />
