Not applicable. <br />' 6. 7'he proposed is in compliance with the application requirements of Sections 24.7, 24.3, and <br />44 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance. In addition the proposal is consistent with the <br />' intent of the Weld County Comprehensive Plan's Ivfineral Resources, Goals and Policies and <br />Transportation Goals and Policies, and the agricultural zone district as provided for a Use <br />by Special Review. <br />7. 7'he agricultural zone district provides for the extraction of mineral resources. By approval <br />cf USA-877, a determination was made that the mining plan in that USR promotes <br />' reasonable and orderly development of mineral resources. This amendment provides for the <br />fi~rtherance of the already approved extraction process. <br />' 8. 7'he Second Amendment proposal does not affect productive agricultural land. This <br />proposal will utilize areas that have already been mined. <br />' 9. 7JI operations of the second amendment will be confined to a part of the site already <br />approved as a gravel mine as USR-877. Public health, safety, and welfare are protected <br />pursuant to the development standazds for USR-877. <br />' 10. Surrounding land uses include gravel mining and agriculture. This proposed use is <br />compatible with those uses. <br />' 11. T'he uses permitted will be compatible with the existing surrounding land uses and the future <br />' development of the surrounding area as permitted by the Weld County Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />
