A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and mast be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not regain a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purobase gyg(be in the D: drive. , A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an imago viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multrpage doclmments. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows I?ictme and Fax Viewer" or "PaiaP' and they do sot work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pro-Windowe XP computer. does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from hianView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfaaView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG.does not support or endorse this software and rho licensing and registretion an the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inshvetlons• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. / 2. Allow time for the CD to install // 3. NOTB: A program called QuickView Aumrva, which runs the QuickView aenrp progrem, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autortm program does NOT work, you will need to mamrauy install the (jnickView program. Inatractions for manually instilling QuickView are avar7able upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.atate.co.us.
