In both cases (the Dorchester #1
loadout expansion and the Fruita drilling program), your staff was
presented with an admittedly difficult and complex administrative problem
with substantial ramifications to Dorchester. In each case the resolution
of the issue was entirely acceptable to Dorchester, while at the same time
preserving the environmental and regulatory objectives required by the
1979 statute and regulations. We here at Dorchester sincerely appreciate
and applaud their efforts. Please extend our thanks to Carol Russell and
Ed Bischoff (Dorchester #1) and to Fred Banta and Bob Liddle (Fruita Drilling).
As always, if I can be of assistance to you or your agency, please do not
hesitate to call.
