Stover
P.O. Box 1430
Palisade, Colorado 81526
September 4, 1987
Dear Mr. Stover:
On August 14, 1987 an inspection was conducted on your access and drill sites
for the south lease drilling plan. As a result of that inspection the
following is noted:
1. Drilling sites PCC 04 through 10 have been satisfactorily reclaimed.
Access to drill sites PCC-04, PCC-OS, PCC-06, PCC-07, PCC-08 and
PCC-09 have also been satisfactorily reclaimed.
2. The two monitoring well sites GWMS-02 and 03 have been revegetated and
are satisfactory until abandonment.
3. The access from the Colorado Ute powerline to the turn off to PCC-10
and the turn off to PCC-09 is still in need of reclamation work. Thin
access moat be recontoured, seeded and all previously cut trees will
be moved into the recontoured area. The road must be blocked at the
junction with the Colorado Ute access road, using a tank trap.
Waterbars will be installed at 100 foot intervals where necessary to
prevent erosion.
4. Drill sites PCC-O1 through 03 and the access were not inspected, but
reclamation of the access was dicussed. The access will be
recontoured and seeded from Lloyds gate in the drainage bottom to site
PCC-03. Access will be blocked using a tank trap in a suitable area
beyond Lloyds gate. Waterbars will be installed at 100 feet intervals
where necessary to prevent erosion.
