Long <br />Division Dire[~or <br />RE: Invoice ,~3, G.E.C. - Orphan Pit - Bond Revocation Project <br />Bid No. RN-COAL-MINES-8, PO# C-70140 <br />Dear Mr. Kessler, <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology received your third invoice <br />for work being performed at the G.E.C.- Orphan Pit- Bond Revocation <br />Project. Several inspections have been performed at the site <br />throughout December 1993 and January 1994 to determine if required <br />work on each of the bid items listed on the invoice has been <br />completed in accordance with the specifications. The results based <br />on the invoice are as follows: <br />1. Mobilization/Demobilization- 25~ of bid amount accepted <br />for payment ($2,125.00). <br />2. Dozer Hours- 16$ of bid amount accepted for payment <br />($642.00). <br />3. Additional Rip-Rap Material- 100$ of bid amount accepted <br />for payment ($200.00). <br />4. Gully Repair (G. E.C. West Pit)- 100$ of bid amount <br />accepted for payment ($4,000.00). <br />5. Pond A Cleanout- 100% of bid amount accepted for payment <br />(8,000.00). <br />The remaining work to be completed on site includes revegetation of <br />all reclaimed areas and construction of the West Pit diversion <br />ditch. Revegetation at the site should commence once weather <br />conditions are favorable. The Division has yet to receive the <br />revised Settlement Agreement from Dr. Corley regarding the West Pit <br />diversion ditch. The Division will notify you once this issue has <br />been resolved. <br />
