A program called QttickView will be copied to the CD and must be instilled on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the Erst time. Futare use of this or othar imaging CD's does not rcquhe a new instillation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase 2~ be in the D: drive. A DVD dtnro will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will wataip Elea with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multipage documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing pr°gta7ns are called "Windows Pictr>re and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work wiW QuickView. The Lnagntg Viewer that comes with pro-Windowa XP coagnrtera does work DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with QilckView. After downloading "IrfanView°, it peeds to be configured a9 your default .tif viewar. DMG.does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration aro the user's responsibility. Thera aro many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Previow" and "hpsgmg for Windows°. Lutractions• 1. Lrsat the CD into your compute. 2. Allow lima for the CD to install 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You ate ready to view the Permit Files NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickViow setup' piogtam, has also bem copied tb this CD.
